The Auchterhouse Guild has been going for 65 years. We meet on the second Tuesday of the month from September to May in Auchterhouse Village Hall at 7.30pm.
For over 125 years The Guild has harnessed the energies of women in the work of the Church, but it is now an organisation for both men and women. With around 25,000 members, the Guild has made an impact around the world. Its Project Partnership Scheme which began in 1997 has encouraged members to pray for, learn about, and raise money for the most marginalised in society - those affected by poverty, drug abuse, homelessness, civil war and genocide. Every three years six projects, three from home and three from overseas, are chosen from 23 applications.
Over the last 17 years the scheme has raised more than £2 million - A magnificent amount entirely due to the hard work and dedication of Guild members.
